Frequently asked questions
Can a Bowden printer print 85A?
We do not recommend it. 85A needs a direct-drive extruder and a slow, steady speed of 20–40 mm/s to avoid buckling in the feed path.
What does 85A mean?
Shore A hardness. 85A is roughly a rubber shoe sole; 95A is a shopping-cart wheel; 72D is a hard hat.
Do I need to dry it before printing?
Every spool ships vacuum-sealed with desiccant. If the bag has been open for more than a few days, or you see popping and stringing, dry at the temperature on the spec grid before printing.
