Frequently asked questions
Do I need a hardened nozzle?
Yes. Carbon fiber is abrasive; use hardened steel or ruby, 0.4 mm or larger.
Does the spool fit a Bambu Lab AMS?
Our 1 kg plastic spool is 200 mm outer diameter and 65 mm wide with a 54 mm hub, inside the width and diameter Bambu Lab lists for the AMS. Rigid materials feed normally; flexible TPU should be printed from the external spool holder.
Do I need to dry it before printing?
Every spool ships vacuum-sealed with desiccant. If the bag has been open for more than a few days, or you see popping and stringing, dry at the temperature on the spec grid before printing.
