Build a qualification and replenishment record
Before the first production order
- Record grade/color, nozzle, slicer, part orientation and the sample lot.
- Set a practical acceptance check for fit, appearance and performance.
- Confirm which TDS or batch records are available.
- Agree a written quote, shipment plan and handling of rejected material.
Before a repeat order
- Use the accepted specification rather than only a material name.
- Confirm whether the same lot or a new lot is supplied.
- Recheck color and critical dimensions after any lot or process change.
- Order against actual measured consumption and lead time; this calculator is only an estimate.
