How we test

A closed loop from incoming resin to outgoing spool: incoming inspection, in-process monitoring, finished-goods testing and batch traceability. Every number on a product page has an instrument and a standard behind it.

Every metre of filament passes a laser gauge before winding. Anything outside ± 0.02 mm, or with ovality above 0.02 mm, is cut out automatically. This is the number that stops clogs and under-extrusion.

Batch specimens are pulled to failure to record tensile strength and elongation at break. The values on each product page come from this instrument.

Notched Charpy tells us how a material behaves when dropped. PCTG at 25 kJ/m² versus PETG at 3 kJ/m² is the difference between a housing that bounces and one that cracks.

Melt flow index is checked per batch to catch resin drift and moisture. Spools are dried in-line and vacuum-sealed with desiccant, then spot-checked on the moisture balance.

Heat deflection and Vicat softening temperatures define where a part stops holding load. They set the "heat resistant" tag on the site.

Print validation Print validation Bambu Lab, Prusa and Creality lab printers · Standard test parts per grade

Before a grade ships, it prints the same set of test parts on the lab printers to validate the profile: overhangs, bridges, retraction towers and a functional snap-fit.
