Features

Firm flexible for footwear and structural parts

A firmer TPU that still deforms under force and recovers its shape. Evaluate geometry and process on a sample before selecting it for lattices or other flexible structures; a validated comparative speed limit is not published.

Typical catalog values are not finished-part design allowables. Test method, conditioning, specimen orientation and batch acceptance limits require confirmation. Source and evidence status.

Frequently asked questions

How fast can I print 98A?
A validated speed limit is not published. Start from a known-working printer baseline and a small test, then evaluate extrusion and layer bonding as you adjust one variable.
What does 98A mean?
Shore A hardness. 98A is close to a hard rubber tyre tread: it flexes in thin sections and stays firm in thick ones.
Do I need to dry it before printing?
Popping and stringing can have several causes. Check moisture and print conditions separately. The listed drying values are supplier suggestions, not verified endpoints; confirm the grade, spool and dryer limits before heating. See the drying guide for a controlled workflow.
