Check your setup

External spool. Print from the external spool holder. Bambu Lab excludes 95A and softer from the AMS lite, and advises against flexible material in the full-size AMS.

Direct drive is the recommended starting arrangement. Check the feed path and test a small sample.

Features

Our softest TPU: squishy, high-rebound parts

A modified TPU that produces elastic parts which deform under load and spring back when the load is removed. Feels like a running-shoe sole.

Typical catalog values are not finished-part design allowables. Test method, conditioning, specimen orientation and batch acceptance limits require confirmation. Source and evidence status.

Frequently asked questions

Can a Bowden printer print 85A?
Direct drive is the recommended starting arrangement for this soft grade. A long unsupported feed path may buckle; no Bowden compatibility or numerical speed limit is validated here.
What does 85A mean?
Shore A hardness. 85A is roughly a rubber shoe sole; 95A is a shopping-cart wheel; 72D is a hard hat.
Do I need to dry it before printing?
Popping and stringing can have several causes. Check moisture and print conditions separately. The listed drying values are supplier suggestions, not verified endpoints; confirm the grade, spool and dryer limits before heating. See the drying guide for a controlled workflow.
